GCCEI Institute review — 14 October 2026
This public working draft follows the homepage decisions agreed on 9 October 2026. It uses a common width for section headings and photographs, graphite typography on the Group’s off-white grey background, and the agreed sequence from Understanding Before Anything Else through the Academy and Publications and Library. The Institute introduction appears first in the ten-article opening sequence. Current Insights follows that sequence. Constitution and Enquiries precedes Our Research Methodology and Research.
Independent review Sites
WHITE and CHARCOAL use the same homepage architecture, subtitle, navigation, Current Insights, underlying pages, catalogue and search. Both use the same plaza photograph, with the principal foreground figures seen from behind facing towards the globe and fountains. The original serif logo is used with a single readable institutional name. The natural sky has no header band or filter.
Review changes
The institute wordmark and navigation share the same lettering size, with a bolder menu. Homepage photographs and heading containers retain their shared maximum width of 88rem, capped at 94% of the viewport. The hero fills the full viewport width using the Group’s 3:2 proportions, with vertical cropping instead of shrinking the photograph. Contact the Institute is in the footer. The methodology photograph precedes its explanatory text and reading link. The Academy contains Our Curriculum and Publications and Library.
Article navigation
All 75 existing articles have a primary subject collection, with links from the corresponding Institute, Research, Academy or Current Insights destination. The Library provides the complete catalogue organised by subject. Our Curriculum is featured in Current Insights. Original article text and addresses are retained.
Content baseline
The 22 core pages and 75-article corpus are drawn from the 10 September transfer pack. Their source statuses are retained in the project. The 6 October register confirms this article baseline; the later integrated Humanity-Assisted Natural Disaster article is not yet included.
Outstanding editorial checks
The Publications and Library photograph is awaiting selection. Its section remains within the Academy.
